Beatty Seeds Ltd. has installed a new Gamet Apollo 610A Sampling Probe to improve the efficiency and consistency of our incoming grain sampling process. The new system allows our employees to collect a representative sample from incoming loads before unloading while helping keep the receiving process organized and moving efficiently.

How It Works – Driver Instructions

When arriving at Beatty Seeds Ltd. with a load:

1. Drive onto the scale and remain on the scale unless directed otherwise.

2. Come into the Scale Office to:

   • Verify the commodity, variety, and grower.

   • Complete or hand in the required Truck Inspection Form.

3. Return to your truck. A Beatty Seeds Ltd. employee will operate the sampling probe and collect the required sample from your load.

4. Watch the traffic light outside. During sampling, the light will indicate when you are required to STOP or DRIVE AHEAD so the employee can obtain samples from the appropriate areas of the load.

5. Once sampling is complete, you may drive around to the designated unloading area.

6. After unloading, return to the scale to be weighed out.

7. Come into the Scale Office to receive your copy of the completed weigh ticket.

Please follow all traffic lights, signage, and directions from Beatty Seeds Ltd. employees while on site. The new sampling process is designed to provide consistent sampling while keeping receiving safe, accurate, and efficient for everyone.
